HaKosem

Let’s start this list out right with some classic and typical Middle Eastern food. If you didn’t know, falafel is a huge staple dish in Middle Eastern cuisine and throughout, it can be found on almost any street corned in Tel Aviv. Miznon

Shlomo Ibn Gabirol St 23 | Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel | +972 3-716-8977

Street food can be found all around the world - and Tel Aviv is no exception. Well known chef, Eyal Shani shook the street food scene in Israel by opening up Miznon. It’s hard to believe how budget friendly this restaurant is when you can order pitas filled with your choice of kebab, steak and eggs, or ratatouille for under $15. He has managed to take the classic pita and spin it with a delicious and satisfying twist!

Located on Dizengoff Street where the nightlife is sure to be buzzing any day of the week, Double Standard is an absolute must-try! Spicehaus

Tel Aviv City Center | Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

Slightly different to Double Standard (but brought to you by the same creators) - Spicehaus is definitely on par with some of the crazier spots in the city. It is one of biggest cocktail bars in Tel Aviv and while it may be pretty popular, it’s still a cool spot to check out. They actually call it the “cocktail bar pharmacy” since the bartenders dress like pharmacists and the cocktails are served in beaker bottles! (Don’t let the ‘East Jaffa Perfume Company’ sign deter you - you’re most definitely in the right place).
